ThermaCare heat pads are used for the targeted relief of muscle and joint pain caused by muscle tension, overexertion, strains or arthritis. People with diabetes, circulatory disorders, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis or during pregnancy should consult a doctor before use. Use should be discontinued and a doctor consulted if irritation, burning, swelling, rashes or other skin changes occur or if pain persists for more than 7 days or worsens. ThermaCare should not be used on leaking heat cell or damaged pad, on diseased, injured or damaged skin, on bruises or swellings that occurred within the last 48 hours, on areas of the body without heat sensation, on the face, head, chest, inner arm, armpit, fingers, lower abdomen, groin, back of the knee, feet or toes. People who cannot remove the product themselves should not use it. In people aged 55 and over, the use of ThermaCare should be avoided during sleep. If the compresses or pads are swallowed or there is skin or eye contact, a doctor should be consulted immediately and the affected skin area should be flushed with water. Children and pets should not have access to ThermaCare. The product should not be microwaved or reheated as it may catch fire.
