Sinolpan Forte 200 mg enteric-coated soft capsules are an anti-inflammatory and expectorant medicinal product for the supplementary treatment of diseases of the respiratory tract. They are used to treat symptoms of bronchitis, colds of the respiratory tract and chronic as well as inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract such as sinusitis. The capsules contain the active ingredient cineole, which loosens the tough mucus in the airways, clears the nose, fights inflammation and relieves the symptoms of bronchitis. They are enteric-coated and therefore gentle on the stomach, as the active ingredient only enters the body through the intestines. Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take one capsule three times a day, or four times a day if necessary. The capsules are taken unchewed with plenty of liquid, preferably half an hour before meals. Persons with an allergy to cineole or any of the other ingredients of the medicinal product, with whooping cough or pseudocroup or infants and children up to the age of 12 must not take the medicinal product. The exact dosage and duration of use should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist. Side effects may include gastrointestinal complaints such as nausea and diarrhoea. Interactions with other medicines are possible and should be considered before use. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use.
