Sinolpan Forte 200 mg enteric-coated soft capsules are an anti-inflammatory and expectorant medicine for the supplementary treatment of diseases of the respiratory tract. The capsules contain the active ingredient cineole, which regulates mucus production in the respiratory tract and has anti-inflammatory properties. They can be used to treat bronchitis, colds of the respiratory tract and chronic inflammatory diseases such as sinusitis. The recommended dosage for adults and adolescents 12 years and older is 1 capsule 2-4 times daily before meals. The capsules should be taken unchewed with plenty of liquid. Sinolpan Forte 200 mg enteric-coated soft capsules should not be used for more than one week unless recommended by a doctor. Possible side effects are gastrointestinal complaints such as nausea and diarrhoea. The medicine must not be taken if there is an allergy to cineole or any of the other ingredients, or in cases of whooping cough and pseudocroup. In addition to cineole, the ingredients are gelatine and sorbitol. Before use, the package leaflet should be read or the doctor or pharmacist consulted.
