Instructions for use of the article Deumavan Schutzsalbe neutral Intimpflege: Deumavan Protective Ointment Neutral is a medicinal ointment for the intimate area. It is used to relieve skin complaints such as redness, itching, swelling, dryness and skin damage. The ointment forms a protective film on the skin and prevents the penetration of germs. It contains no hormonal or preservative ingredients and is vegan. Use daily after washing and/or before and after bowel movements. Regular use can prevent repeated discomfort. The ointment contains paraffinum liquidum, petrolatum, paraffin and tocopheryl acetate as ingredients. The product is not suitable for people with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. The dosage is according to individual needs. The ointment is recommended by the German Skin and Allergy Aid. The manufacturer is Kaymogyn GmbH.

Deumavan has already been recommended to me several times by my gynaecologist for soreness in the intimate area. I have had good experiences with the product for many years, even after pregnancy, when my skin was very dry and irritated due to hormonal changes, Deumavan helped me very well. You should know that Deumavan should not be used as a lubricant when using condoms, as it can impair the tear resistance. My partner has now also discovered Deumavan for himself, as he was chafed in the thigh area due to regular sporting activity in the summer. Deumavan has also provided relief. At temperatures above 25 degrees, the tube, which I personally find more hygienic than the jar, should be kept in the fridge, otherwise the ointment will liquefy.
