Vliwazell® Pro absorbent compress with superabsorbent

Vliwazell® Pro is an absorbent compress that was specially developed for the care of moderately to very heavily exuding wounds.This compress is suitable for use under compression as well as for the treatment of wounds of various types. Thanks to its superabsorbent properties, it quickly absorbs exudate and distributes it evenly, reducing the risk of maceration of the wound and the surrounding skin.

The high absorption capacity of Vliwazell® Pro enables long dressing change intervals, which contributes to longer wound rest periods.The dimensionally stable core of the compress remains dimensionally stable even when used vertically.The practical laundry protection also protects clothing and bed linen from getting wet.

Purpose

Vliwazell® Pro is used for exudate management of acute and chronic wounds.

Indications

The absorbent compress is suitable for treating acute and chronic, medium to very heavily exuding, superficial and deep wounds, including:

• arterial and venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers

• Pressure ulcers

• post-traumatic wounds

• post-operative secondary healing wounds

• Split-thickness skin collection sites

• oncological wounds

• ulcerating tumors

• wounds at risk of infection

• second degree superficial burns

• lymphatic wounds

Additionally, Vliwazell® Pro can be used as a secondary dressing on laparotomy wounds and fistulas.To treat deep wounds, the compress can be used in combination with a suitable wound filler.
