Vliwazell® Pro absorbent compress with superabsorbent

Vliwazell® Pro is an absorbent compress that has super-absorbent properties.It is particularly suitable for the treatment of moderately to very heavily exuding wounds, even under compression.The rapid absorption and even distribution of exudate reduces the risk of maceration of the wound and the wound surroundings.The high absorption capacity enables long dressing change intervals and therefore long wound rest phases.Vliwazell® Pro also has a dimensionally stable core that remains dimensionally stable even when used vertically.The practical laundry protection prevents clothing and bed linen from getting wet.

Purpose

The absorbent compress is used for exudate management of acute and chronic wounds.

Indications

Vliwazell® Pro is suitable for treating acute and chronic, medium to very heavily exuding, superficial and deep wounds.These include:

• arterial and venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers

• Pressure ulcers

• post-traumatic wounds

• post-operative secondary healing wounds

• Split-thickness skin collection sites

• oncological wounds

• ulcerating tumors

• wounds at risk of infection

• 2nd degree superficial burns

• lymphatic wounds

Additionally, Vliwazell® Pro can be used as a secondary dressing on laparotomy wounds and fistulas.To treat deep wounds, Vliwazell® Pro can be used as a secondary dressing in combination with a suitable wound filler.
