Instructions for use of the article Blephademodex Sterile Cleansing Wipes: Blephademodex sterile cleansing wipes are intended for daily cleansing of the eyelids in cases of Demodex infestation. They relieve symptoms such as itching, burning and dryness that may be caused by eyelid infection or inflammation caused by Demodex infestation. The wipes are saturated with a lotion containing 2.5% terpinen-4-ol (purified tea tree oil extract) and 0.2% hyaluronic acid. Demodex is the most common microscopic skin parasite in humans and can cause inflammation of the eyelids. Tea tree oil is a well-known and effective remedy for treating demodex infestations. Blephademodex contains the main ingredient terpinen-4-ol, which is better tolerated than tea tree oil. In addition, hyaluronic acid is included to nourish and regenerate the skin. The cleansing wipes do not contain any preservatives or additional fragrances. The application is simple: Before use, contact lenses should be removed and the hands washed thoroughly. The wipe is wrapped around the index finger and carefully applied to the closed eyelids and the base of the eyelashes. Remove crusts and secretions with small circular movements. The cloth is then used repeatedly on the other eye. After application, the product does not need to be rinsed off. The dosage and duration of treatment can be adjusted by a doctor depending on the severity of the symptoms. It is recommended to use artificial tears in combination with the application of Blephademodex.
