Instructions for use of the article Calci D3-Denk 1.000 mg/880 I.U. Effervescent tablets Calci D3-Denk is a mineral and vitamin combination preparation for the treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiency. It is used for the supportive treatment of osteoporosis in patients with concomitant calcium and vitamin D deficiency and to compensate for concomitant calcium and vitamin D deficiency in elderly people. The recommended dose is one effervescent tablet daily. Dissolve the tablet in a glass of drinking water and drink the contents completely. The duration of treatment depends on the type of symptoms and is determined by the doctor. An overdose may cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, constipation, headache and muscle and joint pain. Do not take a double dose if you have forgotten to take it before. The medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to calcium, vitamin D or any of the other ingredients, have too high a level of calcium in your blood or urine, have severe kidney dysfunction, have kidney stones or the level of vitamin D in your blood is too high. Side effects such as constipation, flatulence, abdominal pain, nausea and itching may occur. Note that the medicine contains saccharin, cyclamate, lactose and soya oil and caution is advised if you are allergic to these substances. Keep the medicine away from moisture and in the dark.
