Application

Ingredients

Active ingredient per 1 g gel: 300 IU pork heparin sodium.Other ingredients: isopropanol, sorbitol 70, trolamine, carbomer 980, polysorbate 80, polyoxyethylene-(6)-caprylic acid/capric acid glyceride, mountain pine oil, pine needle oil, levomenthol, disodium edetate-2 water, purified water.

Area of application

Heparin axicur 30,000 international units gel supports acute swelling after blunt injuries such as bruises and bruises.Bruises and bruises are common blunt injuries caused by minor falls or strong impacts.They are often accompanied by pain and swelling caused by blood clots or metabolic products in the tissue.

How should I act immediately after a bruise occurs?The so-called “PECH” rule specifies the first measures: break, ice, compression and elevation.Immobilize the affected part of the body, cool the area, wrap it in a pressure bandage and position the injured part of the body above heart level.These measures are first aid measures, ideally you should consult a doctor, especially if the symptoms worsen.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be used if you are allergic to heparin sodium or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.The gel must also not be used if there is an acute or known allergic drop in the number of blood platelets caused by heparin.

Dosage

Apply Heparin axicur 30,000 international units gel thinly and evenly to the affected area 2 to 3 times a day.After use, wash your hands thoroughly with soap.The gel should not be applied to mucous membranes, open wounds or weeping eczema.The application must not last longer than 10 days.

Intake

The gel is intended for use on the skin.After application, you should wipe your hands with a paper towel and then wash them thoroughly.If the hands are the area to be treated, dispose of the paper towel in the trash.Avoid product residues entering the wastewater system or the environment.If you accidentally overdose, wipe off the excess gel with a paper towel and dispose of it in the trash.

Patient information

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using the medicine. If new symptoms appear that could indicate thrombosis or pulmonary embolism, such as swelling, feeling of warmth, red and tense skin, feeling of tension and pain in the foot, calf and back of the knee or sudden shortness of breath, chest pain and weakness, the presence of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia type II should be ruled out and the platelet count should be checked.

If drugs that interfere with blood clotting are used at the same time, an increased risk of bleeding cannot be ruled out.The medicine must not be applied to mucous membranes, open wounds, weeping eczema or inflamed areas of skin or come into contact with the eyes, as a burning sensation may occur.

The preparation has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.Previous experience with use in pregnant and breastfeeding women has shown no evidence of harmful effects.Heparin does not cross the placenta and does not pass into breast milk.
