Directions for use of Heparin axicur 30.000 I.U. Ointment: Heparin axicur 30.000 I.U. ointment is a medicinal product for reducing swelling. It is used for the supportive treatment of acute swelling after blunt injuries such as bruises and haematomas. The ointment should be applied thinly and evenly to the affected area 2 to 3 times a day. The duration of application is usually 1 - 10 days. Important information: - Heparin axicur 30,000 I.U. ointment contains cetylstearyl alcohol, sorbic acid, propylene glycol and potassium sorbate. - Read the package leaflet and ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information. - Keep the medicine out of the reach of children. - Do not dispose of the medicine in the waste water. - The ointment can be used for 6 months after opening the tube. The medicine contains the active substance heparin sodium and other ingredients such as medium-chain triglycerides, oleyloleate and levomenthol. Take care not to use the medicine if you are hypersensitive to heparin or any of the other ingredients, have open wounds or weeping eczema.
