Frequently asked questions & Answers
How should I behave if I have a bruise?
The so-called “PECH” rule shows which first measures make sense in the event of a bruise:
1. Break: Rest the affected part of the body and do not put any strain on it.
2. Ice: Cool the injured area with ice packs or ice packs, but not directly on the skin.
3. Compression: Wrap the affected area in a pressure bandage to prevent bleeding.
4. Elevate: Elevate the injured body part above heart level to counteract blood flow.
These measures are first aid measures. If symptoms worsen, you should consult a doctor.
How can I best prevent sports injuries?
Sports injuries may be more likely depending on the sport.Warming up before exercise and wearing protective gear such as knee pads can reduce the risk of injury.Don't overestimate your body and take enough rest when necessary.
