Area of application

SYSTANE COMPLETE offer a comprehensive solution for dry and irritated eyes.The eye drops contain tiny nano-sized lipid droplets embedded in a viscoelastic network of HP-guar.These lipid drops lubricate the eyes, soothe them, moisten them and help rebuild the tear film.This provides noticeable relief from the symptoms of dry eyes.The eye drops are suitable for all forms of dry eye, including mixed forms and symptoms of unknown origin. SYSTANE COMPLETE can also be used for burning eyes.

Common complaints with dry eyes include feelings of foreign bodies, pain, redness, tired eyes, “sticky eyelids” in the morning, watery eyes, burning eyes, eye inflammation, sensitivity to light or visual disturbances.Dry eyes occur when either the quantity or quality of tears produced by the tear glands is inadequate or the tears evaporate too quickly.When there is a lipid deficiency, the oily tear film phase is missing, which leads to increased evaporation and instability of the tear film.If there is a lack of moisture, the tear glands do not produce enough tear components.There are also mixed forms of dry eye.

SYSTANE COMPLETE contains a unique combination of nano-lipid technology and HP-guar (hydroxypropyl guar).The optimized concentration of HP-Guar improves the cross-linking and durability of the protective viscoelastic matrix.The nano-sized lipid droplets rise to the surface of the tear film and fill gaps in the tear structure.This replenishes and stabilizes the tear film, retains moisture for a long time and protects the surface of the eye.

Ingredients of SYSTANE COMPLETE: Propylene glycol, hydroxypropyl guar, thick paraffin, dimyristoylphosphatidylglycerol, polyoxyl-40 stearate, sorbitan tristearate, boric acid, sorbitol, disodium edetate, POLYQUAD® (Polyquaternium-1) 0.001% as a preservative and purified water.It may contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide to adjust pH.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, this product should not be used.

Dosage

SYSTANE COMPLETE can be used during the day if necessary.Put 1-2 drops in the affected eye or eyes and then blink.The product should be shaken before use.

Patient information

Temporary blurred vision and other visual impairments may affect your ability to drive or use machines.If your vision becomes blurred after the instillation, you should not drive or operate machines again until this impairment has subsided.

SYSTANE COMPLETE should be kept out of the reach of children.Store the product between 2°C and 30°C and protect it from light and moisture.
