Gingium 240 mg film-coated tablets contain the active ingredient ginkgo biloba leaf dry extract and are used to treat age-related cognitive impairment and mild dementia. The recommended dosage for adults is half a film-coated tablet twice a day. The tablets should be taken unchewed with liquid. Treatment should last for at least 8 weeks. Side effects may include headache, dizziness and gastrointestinal discomfort. The medicine must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, increased bleeding tendency or epilepsy.
