Gingium 240 mg film-coated tablets are a herbal medicinal product for improving age-related cognitive impairment and quality of life in mild dementia. The tablets contain a dry extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves. They should always be taken exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The recommended dose for adults and elderly patients is 1/2 tablet twice daily, in the morning and evening. Care should be taken not to exceed the total recommended dose. Gingium should be taken orally with liquid. No dosage adjustment is required for patients with impaired renal or hepatic function. The duration of treatment should be at least 8 weeks. Gingium should be stored at temperatures below 30 degrees Celsius. It contains lactose and glucose.
