How does GluteoStop® work?

GluteoStop® contains a special, patented enzyme - prolyl oligopeptidase (AN-PEP) - which can efficiently break down the amino acid chains (peptides) in gluten into harmless fragments.This enzyme was specifically designed to remain active in the acidic conditions of the stomach and break down much of the gluten right there - before it reaches the small intestine.

Studies show that even people with celiac disease who consistently follow a gluten-free diet unintentionally ingest between 150 mg and 400 mg of gluten every day.This is exactly where GluteoStop® comes in: The enzyme tablets help to break down gluten in the stomach before it reaches the small intestine.This reduces the burden of inadvertently ingested gluten.

Dosage

Storage

GluteoStop® should be stored in a cool, dry place and protected from light.It must be stored out of the reach of children.The best-before date (MHD) on the packaging should be observed and the product should be replaced before MHD expires to ensure full enzyme activity.

Age group

GluteoStop® is approved for the general adult population.Since no clinical studies have yet been carried out on children, approval of the enzyme contained could initially only be applied for for adults.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

All ingredients in GluteoStop® are approved as food and dietary supplements.There is no known evidence that these ingredients should not be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, since there are no product-specific studies regarding use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, you should discuss its use with your doctor.
