Grippal Complex DoppelherzPharma is a medicinal product used for the symptomatic treatment of the common cold with pain and/or fever in adults and adolescents aged 15 years and over. It contains the active substances ibuprofen and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. Ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, relieves pain and reduces fever. Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride is a vasoconstrictor that reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa. It is recommended to take this combination preparation only if both a blocked nose and headache or fever are present. The intake should be limited to a maximum of 4 days in adults or 3 days in adolescents. However, there are certain contraindications and precautions that must be observed, e.g. allergies to the active ingredients, pregnancy and breastfeeding, certain cardiovascular diseases and simultaneous use with other medicines.
