Mediderm® cream

Mediderm® Cream was specially developed to treat particularly dry skin such as psoriasis, eczema and neurodermatitis.The cream provides intensive moisture and forms a protective barrier, maintaining the skin's moisture content and protecting it from external influences.It supports the relief of skin irritations, burning and itching and helps to maintain a relaxed skin feeling.With regular use, the skin becomes soothed, smooth and supple, reducing flaking and cracking.

The cream is quickly absorbed, leaves no greasy film and does not stain clothing and bed linen.Mediderm® Cream is free of cortisone, SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), parabens and artificial colors and fragrances.It is suitable from the first month of life and has been dermatologically and microbiologically tested.All products in the Mediderm® series have hypoallergenic ingredients, the number of which is reduced to a minimum.

No prescription is required for this product.The best treatment results can be achieved with the combination of other products from the Mediderm® series, such as Mediderm® shower emulsion, Mediderm® bath emulsion and Mediderm® shampoo.

Mode of action

The mechanism of action of Mediderm® Cream is based on the following three physical properties:

Firstly, the cream forms an occlusive layer on the skin, preventing the evaporation of water from the skin's surface and regulating moisture levels in the deeper layers of the skin.Secondly, the occlusive layer formed on the skin helps restore the skin's natural lipid barrier.Thirdly, this layer regulates the moisture of the skin, making it smooth, elastic and soft, and reducing excessive flaking and cracking.

The ingredients of Mediderm® Cream are: purified water, white petroleum jelly, cetearyl alcohol, cetomacrogol 1000 (non-ionic emulsifying wax), liquid paraffin and phenoxyethanol.

Contraindications

If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, Mediderm® Cream should no longer be used.

Dosage

Mediderm® Cream should be applied to cleansed skin and massaged in gently - the application can be repeated if necessary.To increase the calming effect, the cream can be refrigerated before use.The cream can improve the absorption of other products, and the best treatment results are often achieved when combined with other products in the Mediderm® series.
