Area of application

Kodan N wipes are ideal for thoroughly disinfecting non-medical surfaces.They are suitable, for example, for cleaning door handles, work surfaces, toilet areas and changing mats.

Mode of action

Kodan N wipes are effective against bacteria, viruses (lipophilic) and fungi.Wound healing is not impaired by the application, but is actually promoted.The microbiological effectiveness includes the following properties: bactericidal according to VAH and EN-standards, tuberculocidal, yeasticidal, fungicidal and limited virucidal.The exposure times vary depending on the type of pathogen, with most disinfectant effects occurring after just one minute.

The composition of Kodan N wipes includes 25 g of ethanol (94% w/w) and 35 g of propan-1-ol per 100 g of solution.The product also contains fragrances that are labeled in accordance with VO (EC) No. 648/2004.

Contraindications

If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.It is not suitable for surgical hand disinfection.

Dosage

Before disinfection, all visible dirt should be removed.Wipe the surface to be disinfected thoroughly with a soaked cloth and observe the exposure time.Make sure that the surface remains moist throughout the entire exposure time.When opening and threading the first cloth, hygiene aspects should be taken into account.Close the lid tightly after use.Surfaces that are particularly sensitive to alcohol, such as acrylic glass, must not be treated.

Disinfectants should be used carefully.Always read the label and product information before use.The product is extremely compatible with metals and plastics, with the exception of acrylic glass and alcohol-sensitive paints.
