be swallowed. If swallowing is difficult, the tablets can be divided. The intake should be continued until the symptoms subside. It is advisable to consult a doctor if the symptoms persist for a long time or recur regularly.

Contraindications
The medicinal product should not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to the active substance or one of the other ingredients, or in the case of stomach and/or duodenal ulcers. In the case of gallstone disease, a doctor should be consulted before use. The medicinal product is not suitable for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Side effects
In rare cases, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache and hypersensitivity reactions may occur. In very rare cases, an increase in blood sugar has been observed in insulin-dependent diabetes. If side effects occur, a doctor or pharmacist should be contacted.

Composition
Each film-coated tablet contains 480 mg dry extract of devil's claw root (4.4-5.0:1). Other ingredients are maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, macrogol 6000, talc and titanium dioxide.

Important notes
Persons with an intolerance to lactose should only take the medicinal product after consulting a doctor. Diabetics need to consider the carbohydrate content, as one film-coated tablet contains 0.04 BE.

Storage
The medicinal product should be protected from heat and stored in the dark, e.g. in the outer carton.

The medicinal product is available in packs of 20, 50 and 100 film-coated tablets.
