Indication

KERTYOL P.S.O.Treatment shampoo is an accompanying treatment for the scalp with dry, stubborn dandruff, sometimes accompanied by severe itching.It can also be used as an accompanying care during psoriasis therapy or in combination with or as maintenance care after medical treatments.Suitable for teenagers aged 12 and over and adults.

Active ingredients and mode of action of the product

The innovative active ingredient celastrol develops its calming effect in a targeted manner, thereby alleviating itching and redness.Vederine® stimulates cell differentiation so that plaques detach more easily from the skin and regulates and thereby improves dandruff formation.Vederine® also increases the moisture supply to the scalp.The active ingredient ichthyol has an anti-inflammatory effect, slows down the formation of new cells and thus reduces the formation of new scaly plaques.The salicylic acid contained in the shampoo also has a horn-dissolving effect.The moisturizing component is glycerin.

Application

Intensive treatment phase: Use shampoo 3 times a week for 4 weeks.Maintenance phase: Use once a week alternating with a mild shampoo.Can also be used on colored hair.In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly.

User studies

An open, randomized comparative study was conducted with 54 subjects with mild to moderate scalp psoriasis.Tolerability and effectiveness were tested under dermatological control.

The KERTYOL P.S.O.Treatment shampoo was used three times a week for 4 weeks in two groups.In the following four weeks, 27 subjects from group 1 were treated with KERTYOL P.S.O. once a week.Treatment shampoo and treated with a mild shampoo.The 27 test subjects in group 2 only used a mild shampoo.
