Area of application

Contramutan syrup is a homeopathic medicine used for colds.The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic medicines and include febrile flu-like infections with inflammation of the upper respiratory tract.A cold can cause various symptoms such as cough, runny nose, headache, body aches and fever.Children in particular are often affected by such infections because their immune systems are still developing.Contramutan syrup can be used at the first signs of a flu infection to ease the course and prevent the spread of the symptoms.

The ingredients of Contramutan syrup include Eupatorium perfoliatum (Water dost) Ø 0.0045 g, Aconitum Dil.D4 0.009 g, Belladonna Dil.D4 0.009 g and Echinacea Ø 4.5 g.In addition, the syrup contains sucrose (sucrose) and purified water as other ingredients.

Contraindications

Contramutan syrup should not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients mentioned.

Dosage

Contramutan syrup should be taken undiluted and left in the mouth for some time before swallowing.The dosing aid is included in the pack.Unless otherwise prescribed, the usual dose for acute conditions for small children from 1 year to 6 years is 2.5 ml of syrup every half to an hour, a maximum of 12 times a day, a maximum of 30 ml per day.Children aged 6 to 12 years should take 3.5 ml every half to an hour, a maximum of 12 times a day, a maximum of 42 ml per day.Adolescents aged 13 and over and adults can take 5 ml every half to an hour, a maximum of 12 times a day, a maximum of 60 ml per day.

The product should be kept out of the reach of children.It must not be used after the expiry date stated on the label and outer carton.The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.After opening the bottle, the product has a shelf life of 14 days.Due to the herbal ingredients, the taste of Contramutan syrup may vary slightly, but this does not affect the therapeutic effectiveness or quality of the product.No prescription is required for this product.

Ingredients
