Contramutan® syrup is a homeopathic medicine that is used for colds.It is naturally effective against typical complaints such as fever, runny nose, headaches and body aches.The syrup combines the healing powers of North American water with three other medicinal plants to help in a gentle and herbal way.The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic medicines and include febrile flu-like infections with inflammation of the upper respiratory tract.

Thanks to its very good tolerability, Contramutan® syrup is suitable for children from the age of one and can therefore be used by the whole family.The syrup contains no colors, flavors or preservatives.No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

Contramutan syrup is used for typical cold symptoms such as fever, runny nose or headache and body aches.Even at the first signs of a flu-like infection, the spread can be counteracted and the course can be alleviated by taking Contramutan syrup.Most people get a cold every now and then, but kindergartens and elementary schools are particularly common places for cold viruses to spread.The child's immune system is still in the learning process and the body is practicing its own defenses.That's why children are affected by flu infections more often than adults: up to eight times a year is normal.A cold cycle often begins in families and one member infects the next.Such a flu-like infection is not serious, but it does bring with it an unpleasant feeling of illness.Aside from fatigue and malaise, a cold includes symptoms such as coughing, runny nose, head and limb problems and, especially in children, fever.They tend to have a higher temperature more quickly: a sign that the body is fighting the pathogens under high pressure, because the higher temperature inhibits their spread.

Ingredients of Contramutan Syrup: Eupatorium perfoliatum (Water Can) Ø 0.0045 g, Aconitum Dil.D4 0.009 g, Belladonna Dil.D4 0.009 g, Echinacea Ø 4.5 g.Other ingredients: Sucrose (sucrose), purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of Contramutan Syrup: Take the liquid undiluted and leave it in your mouth for some time before swallowing.Dosing aid is included in the pack.Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose for acute conditions is: Small children 1 year to 6 years: Every half to an hour, a maximum of 12 times a day, 2.5 ml of syrup, a maximum of 30 ml per day.Children 6 - 12 years: Every half to an hour, a maximum of 12 times a day 3.5 ml, a maximum of 42 ml per day.Adolescents aged 13 and over and adults: Every half hour to a full hour, a maximum of 12 times a day, 5 ml, a maximum of 60 ml per day.

Notes

Keep the product out of the reach of children.You must not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the label and carton after “Use by”.The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.After opening the bottle, the product has a shelf life of 14 days.Due to the herbal ingredients, the taste of Contramutan syrup may vary slightly.These taste differences affect neither the therapeutic effectiveness nor the quality of the product.
