Desloratadine STADA 5 mg film-coated tablets contain the active substance desloratadine, which belongs to the group of antihistamines. They are used to treat allergic rhinitis (hay fever or dust mite allergy) and urticaria (skin rash) in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. The tablets relieve symptoms such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itching of the palate and itchy, red or watery eyes. They also help with itching and wheals. The effect lasts all day and allows you to resume normal daily activities and sleep better. If symptoms persist or worsen, a doctor should be consulted. Desloratadine STADA inhibits the release of histamine, a messenger substance responsible for allergic reactions, and blocks its receptors. The medicine is taken once a day, independently of meals. It should be protected from moisture and stored in the dark. Before use, contraindications and interactions with other medicines should be noted. The intake may cause tiredness and headaches.
