Desloratadine STADA 5 mg film-coated tablets are an anti-allergic medicine used to treat allergic rhinitis and urticaria in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. The symptoms caused by an allergic reaction, such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itching of the palate and itchy, red or watery eyes, are relieved by the medicine. Desloratadine STADA contains the active ingredient desloratadine, which blocks the effect of the body's own neurotransmitter histamine. This helps to reduce the allergic symptoms. The medication is taken once a day, independent of meals. The recommended dosage for adults and adolescents 12 years and older is one tablet.
