Bronchostop Sine cough syrup is a traditional herbal medicinal product for the relief of irritation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat and to promote coughing up in productive coughs associated with a cold. The cough syrup contains thyme and marshmallow and has a soothing effect on the irritated mucous membrane and liquefies the mucus to make it easier to cough up. It is suitable for children from 3 years, adolescents and adults. The recommended dosage is 15 ml every 3 to 4 hours for adults and adolescents 12 years and older, 7.5 ml every 3 to 4 hours for children 6 to 11 years and 7.5 ml every 3 to 4 hours for children 3 to 5 years. The medicine should not be used for longer than 5 days. Possible side effects may include hypersensitivity reactions and gastrointestinal complaints. The package leaflet should be read before use. The medicinal product is not suitable for people with hypersensitivity to the ingredients, children under 3 years of age and pregnant and breastfeeding women.
