Summary: Suprasorb A Pro calcium alginate dressings are used for the management of highly exuding, superficial or deep acute and chronic wounds. These dressings contain calcium alginate fibres and cellulose fibres that enhance the performance of the product. They have a high absorption and retention capacity and protect the wound margin. They support wound healing through autolytic debridement and bind bacteria and cell debris in the gel. The dressings can be used for up to 7 days and can be fixed with a suitable secondary dressing depending on the degree of exudation. They can also be used under compression.
