Directions for use of the article Daosin tablets Daosin tablets are a food supplement containing the enzyme DiAminOxidase (DAO). The product supports the body's own breakdown of histamine from food in the intestine. It is recommended to take one tablet 15 minutes before a histamine-containing meal, with a maximum daily intake of three tablets. The tablets contain, among other things, protein extract from pig kidney and are free from gelatine, histamines, lactose, fructose, gluten and artificial colourings. Storage should be protected from light, dry and at room temperature. The product must not be taken if there is a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. In case of regular medication intake, the doctor or pharmacist should be consulted beforehand to counteract possible interactions. It is pointed out that food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
