It has a large backlit display that makes it easy to read the readings. Next to the display is an intuitive colour scale that assigns a colour to each reading. The Accu-Chek Instant test strips have a wide and absorbent application surface, so only a small drop of blood is needed for the measurement. The kit also includes the Accu-Chek Instant meter with batteries, test strips, lancing device, lancets, case and instructions for use. Other advantages include a large measurement memory, easy handling and hygienic disposal of the test strips as well as various technical data such as temperature range, memory size and power supply. The Accu-Chek Instant blood glucose monitoring system only works with the designated Accu-Chek Instant blood glucose test strips. ACCU-CHEK® INSTANT: Accu-Chek Instant provides an easy way to measure blood glucose. It has a large backlit display that is easy to read. The intuitive colour scale assigns a colour to each reading. The device also offers various functions such as time and date, memory locations for readings, average calculation, automatic switch-off and warnings for hypo- and hyperglycaemia.
