Information for use with the article Infrared Thermometer Pro MPV with distance control: The Infrared Thermometer Pro MPV with distance control prevents measurement errors during temperature measurement due to incorrect handling. It checks the recommended distance to the forehead or object before measuring and gives optical and acoustic signals if the distance is too large or too small. This results in more correct measurements and a more accurate clinical picture. The most important features of the Infrared Thermometer Pro MPV are: - Quick and easy reading of temperature through a traffic light system with 3-colour display. - Precise, contactless infrared measurement within seconds by means of three sensors with an accuracy of +- 0.1 °C. - It measures both body and object/surface temperature. - The large, illuminated LCD-display automatically saves the last 30 measured values. - Intelligent power saving due to automatic switch-off after 30 seconds. The Infrared Thermometer Pro MPV is certified and emits acoustic signals when ready for measurement and at the end of measurement as well as in case of faulty measurements. The measuring range for objects is between 0 °C and 100 °C, while the measuring range for body temperature is between 32 °C and 42 °C. The measuring accuracy is +/- 0.1 °C and the scaling is in 0.1 °C steps. The thermometer weighs approx. 95 g (including batteries) and is supplied with 2 AAA-batteries. Please note that disposing of batteries in household waste is prohibited. The symbol "Hg" stands for mercury, "Cd" for cadmium and "Pb" for lead (plumbum) according to the battery law.
