The Aponorm forehead thermometer Contact Free 4 is an innovative device for non-contact fever measurement.It uses infrared technology to enable hygienic measurement without direct skin or surface contact.This thermometer is particularly practical for measuring sleeping children as it does not require touching and therefore does not disturb the child.

The device has a distance control that carries out an automatic measurement as soon as the correct distance of 1-5 cm from the forehead is detected.The "Single Spot" technique with positioning aid enables simple and precise measurement at the center of the forehead.A control light helps with self-measurement by showing when the device is positioned at the optimal distance from the forehead.

The measurement only takes 3 seconds and the device saves the last 30 readings, which can be deleted if necessary.It has an automatic shut-off function to save batteries.The thermometer is clinically tested and offers a measurement accuracy of +/- 0.2 °C.

In addition to body temperature, the device can also measure surface and ambient temperatures in the range of 0 - 100 °C.There is a mute function to turn off the beep if necessary, as well as a "Silent Glow" technology with fever alarm.The colored display shows directly whether the measured temperature is in the normal range (green) or elevated (red).If the temperature is increased, an additional acoustic signal sounds.
