Braun ThermoScan® Hygiene caps enable hygienically clean measurements with a Braun ThermoScan® clinical thermometer on the ear.The protective caps are attached to the corresponding device and are designed for one-time use.They protect the thermometer lens from scratches and contamination that could affect the readings.

Recommended use of the Braun ThermoScan® Hygiene caps: For hygiene reasons, use a new protective cap for every measurement with a Braun ThermoScan® clinical thermometer.Depending on the device type, the protective caps can be placed on the lens without direct contact with your hands.You can dispose of used protective caps as plastic waste.

Application

Braun protective caps have been developed to fit the entire Braun product range and offer maximum measurement accuracy compared to generic products.Look for the Braun logo on each protective cap to guarantee measurement results with the highest accuracy.

Procedure for using the protective caps: Place a new protective cap on the measuring tip of the thermometer before each measurement.Measure the temperature with the protective cap on the tip of the thermometer.After each measurement, dispose of the used protective cap by pressing the button below the thermometer tip.
