Instructions for use of the article Ligasano Bandage white 1x5x5 cm sterile Product characteristics: - Ligasano dressing white - Size: 5 x 5 x 1 cm Instructions for use: - If the wound allows secretion to drain, it can be treated directly with Ligasano White. - Fill the wound completely with Ligasano White and make sure that there is contact everywhere in the wound. - Any pockets should also be filled. - The wound should be covered with another piece of Ligasano White, overlapping the wound edges by at least 1-2 cm. - A large sheet of Ligasano White is placed over the wound to treat the surrounding area. - The dressing thickness must be at least 2 cm, measured from the base of the wound. - For shallow wounds and larger wound environment treatments, the dressing thickness should be correspondingly thicker. - The fixation of the dressing must always be air-open, e.g. with fixation panties, tubular dressings or LIGAMED Fix. - The dressing should be changed daily to every three days or at the latest when the first secretion spot becomes visible on the outside of the Ligasano White. - For heavily weeping wounds in the cleansing phase, dressing changes can also be done several times a day. - Application should always be carried out by healthcare professionals. Storage instructions: - Ligasano White is highly flammable and sensitive to UV-radiation. - It should be protected from open fire sources, heat, UV-radiation and moisture. - It should only be stored in its original packaging. - Ligasano White may have a discolouration towards yellow, but this does not affect the quality of the product. Disposal / Environmental Relevance: - All Ligasano products are over 97% air and can be disposed of as household waste. - Packaging disposal is regulated differently depending on the country.
