Ligasano white sterile is a therapeutically effective PUR-foam dressing with a wide range of applications.It is suitable for wound cleaning, wound treatment and prevention.

The therapeutic benefit of Ligasano white is based on three physical principles.On the one hand, the rapidly decreasing compressive tension of the bandage reduces the pressure on the wound, promotes granulation and reduces the counter pressure on the newly formed granulation tissue.On the other hand, the mechanical stimulus created by the structure of the bandage promotes blood circulation and activates the self-cleaning of the wound.In addition, Ligasano white only absorbs excess exudate without drying out the wound.Depending on the thickness of the material, an intermittent negative pressure is created.

Information on the use of Ligasano white

When?If the wound allows secretions to flow out, it can be treated directly with Ligasano white without any pretreatment.

How?Fill the wound completely with Ligasano white.Make sure there is contact throughout the wound, including the edges of the wound.Any pockets that may be present will also be filled.The wound is then covered with another piece of Ligasano white, overlapping the edges of the wound by at least 1 - 2 cm.A large plate of Ligasano white is placed on top to treat the area surrounding the wound.

Dressing thickness: The treatment with Ligasano white must be at least 2 cm thick, even for shallow wounds, measured from the base of the wound.For all other wounds, the dressing thickness must be correspondingly thicker.Rule of thumb: The larger the area around the wound is treated, the better the effect.The fixation must always be open to air.Fixing panties, tubular bandages or, best of all, Ligamed Fix are well suited.

How often?Dressing change intervals: 1 x daily to 1 x every three days, but at the latest when the first point of secretion becomes visible on the outside of Ligasano white.In the case of heavily exuding wounds during the cleaning phase, this can be done several times a day.

What you must always pay attention to with all applications: The application must always be carried out by a doctor or by medical/nursing trained representatives.

What presentations are there

Ligasano white is offered in different versions, depending on the application in sterile or non-sterile form.These include plates, OP-table pads, compresses and wound bandages.When sterilizing on site, please consider the possible risks, such as severe contamination.Please refer to the current product list for the available dosages.

How to store it

Ligasano white is highly flammable and sensitive to UV-radiation.Therefore, protect it from open flames, embers, heat, UV-radiation and moisture/moisture.In the original packaging there is limited protection against moisture and UV-radiation due to the UV-filter film used.Storage is only permitted in the original packaging.Ligasano white may have a discoloration towards yellow.This does not involve any reduction in quality.
