Elmex Opti-melt toothpaste

The Elmex Opti-enamel toothpaste is specially designed to strengthen and remineralize tooth enamel.The targeted supply of minerals helps weakened tooth enamel to regenerate and harden.This toothpaste also offers protection against the daily acid attacks that our teeth are exposed to.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The ingredients of Elmex Opti-enamel toothpaste include Sorbitol, Aqua, Hydrated Silica, Glycerin, PEG-12, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Aroma, Zinc Phosphate, Cellulose Gum, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Fluoride, Sodium Saccharin, Xanthan Gum and Limonene.An important active ingredient is sodium fluoride, which is contained in a concentration of 1450 ppm F¯.

Application

I'm sure you've all heard the well-known advertising slogan: Aronal in the morning, Elmex in the evening. However, I have decided to rebel a little and therefore use Sensodyne in the morning and not Aronal. Well. That's a real marketing problem now. :-) My teeth seem to like the Elmex toothpaste quite a bit though. I've only been using Sensodyne for years for my sensitive teeth, but I thought I'd give the Elmex Opti-Enamel a try. Packaging The toothpaste comes in a cardboard box with information printed on it. There is no plastic wrapping. Flavour The toothpaste smells rather neutral, at least not unpleasant. Flaws and special features: Mine and the toothpaste's. This toothpaste foams extremely and I didn't use much of it. So when using Elmex, I can't run after the cat while brushing my teeth. I have to stay at the sink. Effect I can't/not yet judge whether it helps. I haven't been using this toothpaste that long. There are cheaper toothpastes, but price is not a criterion for effectiveness. I will empty this pack first and then consider whether I want to buy more or not. It would be nice to read other users' experiences.
