Instructions for use of the article Cosmopor silicone wound dressing 10 x 8 cm: Cosmopor silicone is a sterile quick wound dressing with a skin-friendly perforated silicone adhesive layer. It does not stick to the wound or surgical sutures, but still provides strong support. The dressing is conformable, cushioning, breathable and water repellent. It has high absorbency and retention. The viscose wound pad absorbs wound secretion and passes it on to the superabsorbent fibres, where it is permanently enclosed. This prevents it from returning to the wound. The quick wound dressing is therefore particularly suitable for the gentle care of skin with high demands. The dimensions are 10 x 8 cm, the inner dimension is 6.5 x 3.8 cm. The wound dressing has a water-repellent backing, superabsorbent fibres, a viscose wound pad and a perforated silicone adhesive layer. It is water repellent, provides a secure hold, is easy to apply (even with gloves), has a high absorbency and can be removed gently. It is also conformable, cushioning, does not stick to the wound or wound suture, breathable and has rounded corners for roll-up protection.
