Instructions for use of the article Venofix Safety 23G 0,65 mm blue Product features: - Venofix Safety is a safety venipuncture set for blood collection and short infusion. - It has a blue colour, size G23 (∅ 0.65 mm) and a puncture length of 19 mm. - The tube is 30 cm long, kink-resistant, flexible, has good recovery and is transparent. - The flow rate is 8 ml/min. Safety features Venofix® Safety: - Simple one-hand activation mechanism. - The cannula is enclosed to prevent contact. Uses: 1. venipuncture: disinfect the puncture area according to the guidelines. Hold the cannula by the wings and confirm successful venipuncture by blood return in the transparent chamber. 2. fixation: make sure that the sides of the housing remain free so as not to obstruct the activation of the safety mechanism. 3. activation of the safety mechanism: press the housing with thumb and middle finger and pull back the transparent chamber until the safety mechanism engages.
