Instructions for use of the article Venofix Safety 21G 0,8 mm green

The Venofix Safety is a safety venipuncture set for blood collection and short infusion. It is green, has a size of G21 (∅ 0.8 mm) and a puncture length of 19 mm. The tube is 30 cm long, kink-resistant, flexible, has good resilience and is transparent. The flow rate is 20 ml/min.

Venofix® Safety safety features:

• Simple one-hand activation mechanism.
• Activation in the vein: the cannula is enclosed to prevent contact.

To use the Venofix Safety, disinfect the puncture area according to in-house guidelines. Hold the cannula for puncture by the wings folded upwards. The blood return in the transparent chamber confirms the successful venipuncture. When fixing the Venofix Safety, make sure that the two sides of the housing remain free so as not to obstruct the activation of the safety mechanism. To activate the safety mechanism in the vein, press lightly on the housing with your thumb and middle finger and then pull back the transparent chamber until the safety mechanism engages with an audible and perceptible click.
