Sogoon® film-coated tablets are a herbal medicine that is used as supportive therapy for signs of wear and tear of the musculoskeletal system.The active ingredient in these film-coated tablets is devil's claw root dry extract, which is obtained from the dried root of devil's claw.One film-coated tablet contains 480 mg of this dry extract, prepared in a drug to extract ratio of 4.4 - 5.0: 1. Ethanol 60% (V/V) is used as the extract agent.

The other ingredients of the film-coated tablets include corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.), hypromellose, macrogol 6000, titanium dioxide (E171) and iron (III) hydroxide oxide x H2O (E172).

Dosage and application

The recommended dose is 1 film-coated tablet twice a day, morning and evening.The film-coated tablets should be taken with meals with plenty of liquid, such as a glass of water.The duration of use is not limited, but a doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist or recur regularly.

Contraindications

Sogoon® film-coated tablets must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to devil's claw root dry extract or any of the other ingredients or if you suffer from stomach and duodenal ulcers.If you have gallstones, you should discuss taking them with a doctor or pharmacist.The medicine should not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Storage
