Magnerot® Classic N tablets are a medicine used to treat magnesium deficiency, especially when it causes neuromuscular disorders or leg cramps.The product is available without a prescription.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in Magnerot Classic N tablets is magnesium orotate dihydrate with a dosage of 500 mg per tablet.In addition, the preparation contains the following excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium salt, lactose-1-water, magnesium stearate, corn starch, sodium cyclamate, povidone K30, colloidal silicon dioxide and talc.

Mode of action

Magnerot Classic N contains an organic magnesium compound with orotic acid, which is particularly easy for the body to absorb and utilize.This compound supports muscle relaxation and supplies cells with energy.

Dosage and application

The recommended starting dose is 2 tablets 3 times daily for 7 days.The dose can then be reduced to 1 tablet 3 times a day.The tablets should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid, such as a glass of water, before or with meals.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are known to be hypersensitive to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients, if you have severe kidney dysfunction, if you have severe muscle fatigue (myasthenia gravis) and if the conduction system in the heart has collapsed (AV block).

Side effects

Possible side effects may include loose stools or diarrhea.If side effects occur, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Epidemiological studies do not suggest any adverse effects of magnesium on pregnancy or the health of the unborn child/newborn.The medicine can be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding if used as directed.

Storage

The medicine should be stored dry and at room temperature.After opening/preparation, it may be used for a maximum of 1 year.
