Instructions for use of Choleodoron drops

Choleodoron mixture is an anthroposophical medicine that is used to stimulate bile formation and to treat excretory disorders and dysfunction of the gallbladder and bile ducts.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredients in Choleodoron mixture are Chelidonium mother tincture and Curcuma xanthorrhiza, rhizoma, ethanol.Decoctum mother tincture.Other ingredients include ethanol 94% (m/m) and purified water.

Areas of application

According to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, Choleodoron drops are used to stimulate bile formation (choleresis), excretion disorders (excretion disorders) of bile and functional disorders (dyskinesias) of the gallbladder and bile ducts.

Contraindications and precautions

Choleodoron must not be used if the bile ducts are blocked, if there are liver diseases or if medicines with liver-damaging properties are taken at the same time.Patients with gallstones should consult a doctor before taking them.Pregnant and breastfeeding women must not take the medicine.If symptoms persist or are unclear, a doctor should be consulted.

Application and dosage

Always take Choleodoron exactly as your doctor has told you.The usual dose for adults and adolescents is 5-15 drops 2-4 times a day, for children aged 2 to 11 years 5-10 drops 2-4 times a day.The drops are taken diluted with water after eating.Treatment continues until the symptoms subside.If taken for more than 4 weeks, liver function values should be checked.

Side effects

Very rarely, taking Choleodoron can temporarily cause pain in the upper abdominal area.In rare cases, liver damage can occur.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage and shelf life

The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.Do not store Choleodoron above 25°C.
