Cutinova Hydro is a gentle adhesive wound dressing specifically designed for superficial wounds with moderate to heavy exudation.The bandage consists of a polyurethane matrix and contains superabsorbents that allow it to be worn for up to seven days.Due to its semi-transparent nature, the bandage allows an initial assessment of the healing process without having to change the bandage frequently.

The hydroselective superabsorbers in Cutinova Hydro remove excess water molecules from the exudate, while healing-promoting proteins, growth factors and enzymes are concentrated in the wound.This is called selective absorption.The absorbed exudate is held securely in the polyurethane matrix, which prevents secretions from accumulating and leakage from the dressing.
