Area of application
Haenal Hamamelis suppositories are a herbal remedy for relieving symptoms such as itching, burning or light bleeding in the early stages of hemorrhoidal disease as well as inflammation of the mucous membrane in the anus area.They help with hemorrhoids and anal itching.
Mode of action
Hemorrhoids can be painful and uncomfortable because they ooze, itch, or bleed.Haenal Hamamelis suppositories soothe the mucous membrane and are purely herbal.They contain witch hazel, which reduces the underlying inflammation and thus alleviates the symptoms.

One Haenal Hamamelis suppository contains 66 mg dry extract of witch hazel bark (5-7.7:1), with ethanol 30% (m/m) serving as the extractant.The other ingredients are glucose syrup, hard fat and highly dispersed silicon dioxide.
Contraindications
Haenal Hamamelis suppositories must not be used if you are allergic to Hamamelis or any of the other ingredients.The product should not be used on children under 12 years of age.During pregnancy and breastfeeding it should only be used after consulting a doctor.The application should last a maximum of two weeks.
Dosage
The recommended dosage is one suppository three times a day, if possible after a bowel movement.One suppository contains 66 mg of witch hazel bark extract, so the daily dose is 198 mg.The suppositories are inserted into the anus.Self-treatment without medical advice should not be carried out for longer than four weeks.

Storage
