Area of application

The medicine is intended for the superficial treatment of hemorrhoids.It contains a local anesthetic and is used to relieve burning and itching in the anus area.No prescription is required for this product.

If there is no improvement after a week of daily use, you should consult a doctor.

The active ingredient in this medicine is quinisocaine hydrochloride with a concentration of 5 mg per gram of cream.In addition, it contains the following excipients: cetyl alcohol, glycerol 85%, polysorbate 60, white petroleum jelly, purified water, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate and propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, sodium salt.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are allergic to quinisocaine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients.It is also not applicable for heavily bleeding hemorrhoids.

Dosage

Always use the medicine exactly as described or after consulting your doctor, pharmacist or healthcare professional.Depending on the symptoms, apply a strand of cream about 1 cm long once or twice a day.

It should not be used for longer than 1 week without interruption without medical advice.If symptoms persist, please consult a proctologist.If you overdose, remove the excess cream from your skin with a soft cloth.If you forget to use one, do not use double the amount.

Intake

The medicine is used on or in the anus.Before use, clean the anus with lukewarm water and a soft cloth, avoiding additional irritation from rubbing.

Patient information

The medicine must not be applied to large areas or near the eyes.The safety of condoms can be compromised.Only give this medicine to children and adolescents after consulting a doctor.No special precautions are required for the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy

There are no data on the use of the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding.It should therefore only be used if the doctor considers treatment necessary.Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use.

Notes

The ointment should not be applied to large areas or near the eyes.Contains cetyl alcohol and parabens (methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate and propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate).Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.
