Description

Haenal fact Hamamelis ointment is a herbal medicine that is suitable for wound treatment and external use for hemorrhoids.The ointment contains a dry extract from the bark of the witch hazel (Hamamelis virginiana), whose ingredients have an anti-inflammatory and astringent effect.This helps to relieve symptoms such as itching, burning and minor bleeding in the early stages of hemorrhoidal disease, as well as inflammation and minor skin injuries in the anus area.The active ingredients are suitable for prolonged use and during pregnancy.

Active ingredient: 10 g ointment contains 129 mg dry extract of witch hazel bark (5-7.7:1);Extractant: Ethanol 30% (m/m).

Other ingredients: cetostearyl alcohol, glucose syrup (spray-dried), colloidal silicon dioxide, peppermint oil, titanium dioxide (E 171), white petroleum jelly, wool wax alcohol.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use: Unless otherwise prescribed, the ointment should be applied to the affected areas 2-3 times a day after careful cleaning and drying.The recommended amount is one strand of ointment 1 to 2 cm long.

Notes

If the symptoms begin acutely, if the skin changes are very weeping or have a yellowish tint, if there is no improvement within 3 days, as well as if hemorrhoids are advanced and other palpable external changes in the anal region, a doctor should be consulted.Blood in the stool or bleeding from the rectum generally requires medical clarification.The product should not be used after the expiry date stated on the package.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
