Instructions for use for Ringer Solution Free Flex infusion solution
Ringer's solution Free Flex infusion solution is a solution for the intravenous administration of fluid and electrolytes.It is used to briefly fill the vascular system with fluid, to compensate for chloride losses and as a carrier solution for suitable electrolyte concentrates and medications.No prescription is required for this product.
Active ingredients and composition
The active ingredients in Ringer Solution Free Flex infusion solution are sodium chloride, potassium chloride and calcium chloride dihydrate.1000 ml of the infusion solution contains 8.60 g sodium chloride, 0.30 g potassium chloride and 0.33 g calcium chloride dihydrate.The other ingredients are water for injections, hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide.
Areas of application
Ringer Solution Free Flex infusion solution is used for short-term filling of the vascular system with fluid, to compensate for chloride losses and as a carrier solution for suitable electrolyte concentrates and medications.

Warnings and precautions
Ringer Solution Free Flex infusion solution must not be used if you are allergic to any of the active ingredients or other ingredients or suffer from overhydration.Particular caution is required in the case of increased potassium, sodium or chloride levels in the blood, as well as in certain diseases such as heart failure, tissue swelling, pulmonary edema, high blood pressure, severe renal impairment and eclampsia.The solution should be used with caution in cases of heart disease, kidney or adrenal weakness, acute dehydration and extensive tissue destruction.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use.Ringer Solution Free Flex infusion solution can be given during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but your electrolyte and fluid balance will be monitored.
Side effects
Like all medicines, Ringer Solution Free Flex Infusion Solution can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Possible side effects include increased blood chloride levels, fever reactions, injection site infections, local pain or reactions, vein irritation, venous thrombosis or inflammation.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Storage
Keep the infusion solution out of the reach and reach of children and do not use it after the expiry date stated on the label.Do not store the solution above 25°C and do not use it if you notice the solution becoming cloudy or the container damaged.The infusion solution is only intended for single use.
