Active ingredient and composition

The active ingredient in this solution is sodium chloride, also known as table salt.100 ml of the solution for injection contains 0.9 g of sodium chloride.The other ingredient is water for injections.The electrolyte concentrations are Na+ 154 mmol/l and Cl- 154 mmol/l.The theoretical osmolarity is 308 mOsm/L and the pH is 4.5 to 7.0.
