Bearberry leaf tea is a herbal medicine intended for use in inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract.The tea is prepared as an infusion or cold extract and is suitable for young people aged 12 and over and adults.No prescription is required for this product.

One tea bag of bearberry leaf tea contains 3 g of bearberry leaves as an active ingredient.Bearberry is an evergreen shrub with distinctive leaves and flowers.The main ingredients of bearberry leaves are arbutin, methylarbutin and tannins.Arbutin and its derivatives have antibacterial and antifungal effects, while the tannins support the germicidal effect.

Contraindications

The product should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.Children under 12 years should not use the tea.There is no sufficient information available during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.

Dosage

The recommended dosage is a cup of tea up to 4 times a day.The tea can be prepared either by pouring boiling water over an infusion bag and steeping for 10 to 15 minutes or by steeping with cold water, steeping for several hours and heating briefly.Without medical advice, the medicine should not be taken for longer than one week and no more than five times a year.
