The medicinal tea peppermint leaves is a herbal remedy that is used for cramp-like complaints in the gastrointestinal area as well as the gallbladder and bile ducts.No prescription is required for this product.The tea is made from peppermint leaves and is intended as a medicinal tea to be taken after making a tea infusion.

Application and dosage

Always take peppermint leaves exactly as directed in the package leaflet.Unless otherwise prescribed, drink 1 cup of the prepared tea infusion 2 to 4 times a day.To do this, pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over 1 tea bag of peppermint leaves and let it steep for about 10 to 15 minutes.In the case of acute symptoms that last longer than 1 week or recur periodically, we recommend consulting a doctor.

Precautions

This medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to peppermint leaves or menthol.If you have gallstones, peppermint leaves should only be used after consulting a doctor.If used with other medicines, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.There are no sufficient studies on use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use.

Side effects and storage

There are no known side effects.Keep medicines out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date stated on the carton.The medicine should be stored in the original packaging protected from light and moisture.

1 Tea bag (= 1.5 g) medicinal tea contains the active ingredient: 1.5 g peppermint leaves.Other components are not included.Peppermint leaves is available in the following pack sizes: 125 g medicinal tea in the outer box, 75 g medicinal tea in the outer box, 30 g medicinal tea of 1.5 g each (20 tea bags).
