Sidroga® Thyme is a herbal medicine that is used to relieve symptoms of respiratory diseases.It is used for bronchitis and catarrh of the upper respiratory tract.The components contained in Sidroga® Thyme come from thyme plants that are harvested, stripped and dried during the flowering period.These contain the leaves and flowers of the common thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.) and the Spanish thyme (Thymus zygis L.).The active ingredients of thyme promote the secretion of mucus (expectorant) and relieve cramps (spasmolytic), thereby relieving coughs.

The active ingredient in Sidroga® Thyme is thyme.Each filter bag contains 1.6g of thyme.No other components are included.

Area of application

Sidroga® Thyme is used to treat symptoms of bronchitis and catarrh of the upper respiratory tract.

Preparation

To prepare a tea infusion, pour about 150 ml of boiling water over a Sidroga® Thyme filter bag.The infusion should then be left to steep, covered, for around 10 to 15 minutes before removing the filter bag.

Application

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, a cup of the tea infusion should be drunk several times a day.
