HEUMANN Bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T supports the mucus solution in the respiratory tract.The product contains plant extracts and essential oils that are traditionally used to loosen mucus.No prescription is required for this product.

Mode of action

The natural expectorants in HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T are licorice, marshmallow, primrose and thyme.The effect is based solely on tradition and many years of experience.

Active ingredients of HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T: 1g HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T contains: 100 mg licorice root dry extract, (3-4:1), extractant: water 54.17 mg marshmallow root dry extract, (7-9:1);Extractant: water 8.33 mg primrose root dry extract, (5-7:1), extractant: ethanol 60% (m/m) 1 mg thyme oil excipients of HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T: Ammonia caramel, anise oil, arabic gum, fructose, glucose syrup dry matter, maltodextrin, sucrose, (8.02 kJ carbohydrates correspond to 0.075 BE carbohydrates), silicon dioxide, highly disperse

Contraindications

If you are hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.If you have liver disease, high blood pressure or low blood potassium levels, you should consult your doctor before taking it.Not suitable for children under 12 years.There are no sufficient studies available for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Dosage

For a cup of tea, 1 measuring spoon of powder is poured into hot water.Drink approximately 3-6 cups throughout the day.

Notes

If you have symptoms that last longer than 3 days, shortness of breath, fever or purulent or bloody sputum, it is advisable to see a doctor immediately.

HEUMANN Bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T contains fructose, glucose and sucrose.Please only take HEUMANN Bronchial Tea SOLUBIFIX T after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars. HEUMANN Bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T can be harmful to the teeth (caries).

What should you consider before taking HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T?

You must not take HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to aniseed, anethole, primroses, any of the other active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine mentioned in section 6.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before continuing to take HEUMANN Bronchial Tea SOLUBIFIX T if symptoms worsen while taking the medicine.

Medicines containing licorice root should be used with caution in patients with high blood pressure, kidney, liver or heart disease or low potassium levels in the blood (hypokalemia), as these patients may be particularly sensitive to the undesirable effects of licorice root.

The simultaneous use of diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, laxatives (laxatives) or other drugs that affect the electrolyte balance is not recommended.

There are no sufficient studies on the use of this medicine in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. HEUMANN Bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T should therefore not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

You should not take HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Taking HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T together with other medicines

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.

Liquorice root may counteract the blood pressure-lowering effects of prescribed medications.

Potassium losses can be increased by taking licorice root preparations at the same time as certain drugs that increase urine output, cortisone or cortisone-like substances and laxatives, as well as other drugs that affect electrolyte balance.

A potassium deficiency can increase the effect of certain drugs that strengthen the heart muscle (cardiac glycosides) and influence the effect of drugs against cardiac arrhythmias.

The effect of HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T can be increased by taking hormonal contraceptives at the same time.

The absorption of other medicines taken at the same time may be delayed.As a precautionary measure, HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T should not be taken 1/2-1 hour before or after taking other medicines.

Taking HEUMANN Bronchial Tea SOLUBIFIX T with food, drinks and alcohol

During treatment with HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T, the simultaneous consumption of foods containing licorice root (e.g. licorice) should be avoided, as this can cause serious undesirable effects.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Before taking/using any medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

There are no sufficient studies on use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Liquorice root shows mineralocorticoid effects when used for longer and in higher doses.

It is not recommended for pregnant women.This means that its use in women of childbearing age who are not using contraception is not recommended due to the risk of early pregnancy.

It is not known whether the active ingredients or their breakdown products pass into breast milk.A risk for breastfed infants cannot be ruled out. HEUMANN Bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T should not be taken by breastfeeding women.

Ability to drive and use machines

Effects on the ability to drive and use machines are not yet known.

Side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.

Allergic reactions (respiratory tract, skin) and gastrointestinal complaints may occur.

How to take HEUMANN Bronchial Tea SOLUBIFIX T?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is: Unless otherwise prescribed, drink 1 cup of tea as hot as possible several times a day.Generally this means 3-6 cups of tea daily.

Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended.

1 Measuring spoon (1.2 g) contains approx. 1 g of carbohydrates, equivalent to 0.09 BE.The calorie value is 2.3 kcal/g.

Method of administration: Oral use.Preparation: Pour hot water (approx. 150 ml) over 1 measuring spoon while stirring and sweeten as desired.

Duration of use: HEUMANN Bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T should not be taken for longer than 4-6 weeks.If symptoms persist for more than 1 week while using HEUMANN Bronchial Tea SOLUBIFIX T, a doctor should be consulted.

If you have taken a larger amount of HEUMANN Bronchial Tea SOLUBIFIX T than you should: If you have taken too large quantities of HEUMANN Bronchial Tea SOLUBIFIX T, please notify your doctor.This can decide on any necessary measures.

If you forget to take HEUMANN Bronchial Tea SOLUBIFIX T: If you take too small amounts of HEUMANN Bronchial Tea SOLUBIFIX T or if you forget to take HEUMANN Bronchial Tea SOLUBIFIX T, do not take twice the amount next time, but continue using it as prescribed by your doctor or as described in the dosage instructions.

How should HEUMANN Bronchial Tea SOLUBIFIX T be stored?

Keep this medicine out of the reach and reach of children.

You must not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and container after “Use by”.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Storage conditions: Do not store above 25°C.Close tightly after use.

Note on shelf life after opening the container: Use contents within 6 months of opening the jar.

1.2 g tea infusion powder (= 1 measuring spoon) contains the active ingredients: 120.0 mg dry extract of licorice root (3-4:1), extractant: water;65.0 mg dry extract of marshmallow root (7-9:1), extractant: water;10.0 mg dry extract from primrose root (5-7:1), extractant: ethanol 60% (m/m);1.2 mg thyme oil.

The other ingredients are: maltodextrin, spray-dried glucose syrup, arabic gum, anise oil, fructose (Ph. Eur.), sucrose (sucrose);Dye: ammonia caramel E 150c.

HEUMANN Bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX T is gluten-free and can therefore be drunk if you have a chronic disease of the small intestinal mucosa (celiac disease) or if you have an intolerance to gluten (local sprue).
