Other ingredients include microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, corn starch, lactose monohydrate, talc, hypromellose, crospovidone, titanium dioxide, iron (III) hydroxide oxide x H2O and vegetable stearic acid.

Contraindications

Vitamin C 1000 film-coated tablets must not be taken if you are known to be hypersensitive to ascorbic acid or any of the other ingredients.In the case of kidney stones made from oxalate and certain diseases in which too much iron is stored in the body, the preparation should only be taken after consulting a doctor.Vitamin C 1000 should also be used with caution if you have glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency.

Dosage

Vitamin C 1000 film-coated tablets are taken whole with sufficient liquid.To prevent vitamin C deficiency, adults take 50 to 200 mg of ascorbic acid daily, which corresponds to a maximum of half a film-coated tablet every second to third day.In the case of deficiency diseases, the daily dose is 200 to 1000 mg ascorbic acid, equivalent to half to a whole film-coated tablet daily, until the symptoms subside.The tablet can be divided into two equal doses.

Notes

Vitamin C 1000 film-coated tablets should not be stored above 25 °C and should always be kept out of the reach of children.The preparation should be stored in the folding box and should not be used after the expiry date stated on the folding box and the blister.

If you take vitamin C 1000 together with other medicines, a doctor or pharmacist should be informed, as vitamin C can increase the absorption of iron and aluminum from the gastrointestinal tract.The specified application quantities should not be exceeded during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
